Almost switched Web host today…
Let me give you a bit of background on this. About a month ago we started Dumbfiles, which we host on Dreamhost, which has been wonderful to us for over a year. The problem is that we’ve experienced a ton of issues with our service lately and this might hinder Dumbfiles’ growth. So we started looking around for other hosts (which by the way, is awful, all the review sites are paid, if you know of any non-biased review, let me know). We looked at Hostgator, but of course, they’re known for suspending accounts for excessive...

read moreThe World's Most Famous Midget
Last night a huge question came into my head; what is the difference between a midget and a dwarf. I asked my girlfriend and she said that a midget was under 5 feet and a dwarf was under 4. I was very skeptical of this answer (because that would make all dwarves midgets…very confusing) so I decided to Google the word "midget" . Well, the first result was the Wikipedia entry for midget and the second result was Eric the Midget’s (or the Astronaut, Actor…) Wikipedia entry. For those of you who aren’t fans of...
read moreLittle Girls getting the fu$% knocked out of them by their parents with balls
(This has to be the longest blog title I’ve ever written) What is it with these 2 videos that have me laughing to tears every time I watch them? I find myself rewinding them and playing them over and over and over… Is there something wrong with me that I find it outrageously funny to watch these girls getting the $hit knocked out of them by their parents (I assume) who throw (or kick) big inflatable balls at their heads? Gotta love the slow-mo action too. Here are the videos… Little Girl vs Big Yellow Dodge Ball –...

If you've got Excel 07 installed, check out this bug that is "crippling" users world wide. Type 850 in one cell then 77.1 in another, then multiply them…you get 10,000 not 65,535. See for...
read moreAwsome Craigslist Prank
OK…so someone I know (no clue who the hell it is) played the best prank ever on me today (and its still going on…). He/She got on Craigslist and posted an ad selling my car for very, very cheap. The problem is that he/she included my cellphone number. All of a sudden I started a ton of calls asking about car for sale on Craigslist. Take a look at the ad for yourself… (click on the image to view full size) Good thing my cellphone's battery died on me, otherwise my phone wouldn't have stopped ringing. So far,...

I just finished reading the story of Michael Righi, who got arrested after not showing his receipt when leaving a Circuit City in Ohio and for not showing his Drivers License to a cop, even though he was not operating (read: driving) a car. I encourage you to read his story and donate to his cause if you can! "At this point I was placed in handcuffs, patted down, had my wallet removed from my back pocket and was placed in the back of Officer Arroyo’s police car." Read his story HERE Edit#1. Thanks Jim,...

[This is my first article for The WordPress Magazine, which isn't up yet, but check the site out once its up! There are multiple ways of witting posts with WordPress. Some like the plain text-mode, some like the built-in TinyMCE editor, others install plugins (such as WYSIWYG for WordPress or Xinha), and some even use MS Word 2007's blogging features. Lets examine the first method: Plain-text: This method is just like using a text editor, except that it can insert some snippets of code for you, such as the tags for...

I think I can consider myself a professional blogger. Sure, I've been blogging for a while (with some adsense, here and there) but I really haven't made any $$, but I am now blogging or a new website, The WordPress Magazine, for pay. I am just finishing up my first article. I'll post it here after I'm done. ...
